The College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS) epitomized "Servant Leadership." It assumes leadership as far as the offering of general education courses is at stake. On the other hand, it plays the role of a servant – servicing all other colleges within Systems Plus College Foundation (SPCF) on their general education needs.

During the SPCF Management Meeting on October 27, 2007, the Board of Trustees passed a resolution establishing the College of Arts and Sciences with the plan of offering AB in Commmunication, AB in Political Sciences, and AB in Psychology programs. Academic Year 2008-2009 initially fused the College of Education. The Two colleges operated separately the following Academic Year 2009-2010 because CAS has applied for two programs of its own – AB in Communication and AB in Political Science. Again, in Academic Year 2011-2012, The College of Social Work was added to CASS, renaming it to Colleges of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS).

The college is one among the three neophyte colleges ad nevertheless, It has undertaken a number of activities that highlighted the college and institutional vision & mission. CASS is currently offering its own degree programs – the Bachelor of Arts in Communication, Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Bachelor of Science in Social Work.
